If you have been checking through this website you will have noticed that a great many of my illustrations focus in on quite a figurative style. This section is a little different. We all have a dark side to say the least and this is mine. Before I started work on my more figurative pieces I was producing work that was heavily influenced by the artists Dave Mckean and Bill Sienkiewicz. From these influences I created a dark slightly abstract style which used a variety of different materials including collage, paint, ink, glue, mac, handmade paper, general junk and you name it. This style essentially started whilst I was at art college back in the late eighties and is still a style I indulge today. The work featured here dates from the present to as far back as 1989. Welcome to my nightmare...
